Clickbank is driving me crazy. On 10th september they did the big update. Since then my sales dropped like a STONE. From $300 to $80 per day. Amount of hops even INCREASED since then, but ROI dropped drastically. Some days ago sales picked up again, and yesterday another update… result: sales dropped down to $80 again.
I read in several forums, that people are not able to pay, because theri credit cards get refused. I wonder why clickbank is not fixing the problem but instead coming up with one upgrade after the other.
This starts getting ridiculous. Look over at the graph at http://www.cb-analytics.com As you can see, sales indeed dropped like a stone.
Of course, the economy problem is one factor, but there is no doubt that there is something definitely wrong over at clickbank.
It is impossible that no one buys anymore. If I was only promoting ONE niche, but I am promoting over 10 niches.
I wonder if clickbank is going down the hill….

If you are an absolute internet marketing newbie and have no idea where to start I recommend USFreeads.com. USFreeads has been attracting internet marketers for years and it still does. USFreeads gets tremendous amounts of traffic and it is not difficult to market on this classified ad site.
You have the choice of getting a free account. The disadvantage is that you cannot post clickable links. So I recommond going for gold ($10 a year) or even better: Premium ($9..95 per month). You can cancel your Premium account any time. With a Premium USFreeads account you may post clickable links, upload picutres and a lot more. This makes your ads stand out and will attract more visitors.
The great thing about USFreeads.com is, that ads containing the right keywords will get great google rankings. This is were your traffic will be coming from.
So how to get started.
1. Get a USFreeads.com acount
2. Download “Goodkeywords” (it’s a free keyword software that will help you get ideas on keywords people are searching for). You can download Goodkeywords for free at: http://www.goodkeywords.com/
3. Choose a Affiliate Network. I recommend Clickbank
4. Sign up for a clickbank account and get a clickbank ID. IT’s FREE as well!!
5. Go to ClickbankMarketplace and choose a product you’d like to promote.
6. As en example I suggest Six Pack ABS”. YOu can find it in the Clickbank Marketplace in the HEALTH section, listed as No.1
You can find the sales page at: http://www.truthaboutabs.com/
Your affiliate url will be: http://xxxxx.mikegeary1.hop.clickbank.net/
Replace xxxxx with your clickbank ID. This is your affiliate url. Whenever someone clicks on the link and buys the ebook you will make $24.20.
7. Now run Goodkeywords and enter your main keyword. In our example it will be something like ABS or six pack
8. Choose a keyword that has a google competition BELOW 10000. Why? Because USFreeads.com ads will only rank well for keywords with a competition below 10000. In our example this would be a keywor dlike “girls abs”
About “competition”. ti find out how many competitors there are for a keyword go to google and type in the keyword you wan tto know the competition for in “”. E.g. search for “girls abs”. As you can see there is a competition of 9900.
9. Ok, you have a USFreeads.com account, you have a clickbank account, you have chosen a product you’d like to promote, you got your affiliate Id, you have done your keyword research. Now it is time to write the ad. Log into your USFreeads account, choose the proper category and write your ad down.
a.) Make your ad short and straight to the point.
b.) Put the keyword in the title TWICE: Example Girls ABS - How To Get Strong Girls ABS In 2 Weeks
c.) Write your ad and use the keyword at least once.
d.) At the end of the ad put your hyperlinked affiliate url: CLICK Here to Download Building Muscle Fast.
You are done!
You can create several ads for the SAME product using DIFFERENT keywords! However: DO NOT SPAM!
Write about 10 ads per day. Give the ads some time to rank in google and to draw traffic. It may take several weeks for sales to start coming in.
It is importan tthat you stick to the 10 ads per day plan! Don’t give up and be patient!

First of all: What exactly is Twitter?
Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users’ updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.
Updates are displayed on the user’s profile page and delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them. The sender can restrict delivery to those in his or her circle of friends (delivery to everyone being the default). I recently talked about Squidoo and how great it is to make money. There is another great platform that is almost as good as Squidoo: Hubpages.com
The good thing about Hubpages is that you will get organic search engine traffic even faster and with no efforts. If reading my last post you will note that for Squidoo lenses to rank, backlinks are essential.
Hubpages on the other side gets auto ranked and auto indexed. There is no need for any backlinks. The downside is that Hubpages are not that flexible. E.g. you may only add two domains pointing to the same domain. There is also no way to add banners or graphics.
Because of this the number of click throus is lower compared to Squidoo. However, there are some tricks to make your Hubpages really stand out.

When Squidoo launched two years ago I was one of the first to join. At that time there have only been aroud 20,000 lensed built. (Today there are almost 600,000!). It was VERY EASY! All I needed to do was using my target keyword in the title and use it in my article as well. Then I added a link to the affiliate product I was promoting and within some days money started rolling in. No need to gain backlinks! Google loved Squidoo so much, they gave lenses top positions without any additional effort.
I should have known it! Due to the huge number of spam lenses created (I never created spam lenses!), google decided to no longer give squidoo such big love! Squidoo traffic dropped like a stone back in July 2007. And my income dropped as well….I moved away and thought Squidoo is dead. I focused on other web 2.0 sites. However, results have not been the same.
Some months ago I did some keyword research and noticed that there are still lenses ranking in the TOP 3 for very competitive keywords.
I knew, these lensemaster must have some knolwedge I did not have….. So I purchased some Squidoo Marketing Guides. Most of them did not contain any valuable information. However, one of them seemed to be the key to my problem´: “The Secret Cash Machine on Squidoo“.
